Northwestern Engineering Masters Program

Norman Filter Company recently completed a joint research project with Northwestern University School of Engineering Masters Program to conduct FEM (Finite Element Modeling) to better understand the tensile properties of woven wire mesh to allow for more accurate analysis of unique loading patterns experienced due to the extreme environments of space flight applications. This will allow NFC to further pursue more in depth projects to better understand and expand the science of filtration with modern analysis models.
