Scope This document defines quality system requirements for organizations supplying production materials and parts, as well as value added manufacturing services to Norman Filter Company. These requirements are applicable to all Norman Filter Company purchase orders. 2.

This can be obtained through http://aerospace.sae.org/. 2.3 This document is maintained and available at www.normanfilters.com/suppliers. 2.4 Supplier Quality Clauses: DPU01-07, Rev.2; Effective: 01/27/12 (pdf file) 3.1 The supplier shall notify Norman Filter Company in writing of any changes in product design or significant changes in the production process, e.g. new plant, new key material supplier, etc. 3.2 Any applicable purchase order requirements shall flow down to sub-tier providers. For example, identification of key characteristics. 3.3 If a supplier’s quality system certification is withdrawn for any reason, Norman Filter Company shall be notified immediately in writing. 3.4 Norman Filter Company, its customers, regulatory authorities, or a representative shall be afforded the right to verify at supplier’s premises that product conforms to specified requirements and have access to all facilities involved in the order and to applicable records. 3.5 All purchase orders shall be acknowledged in writing within 24 hours, as referenced on the purchase order. 3.6 If an agreed upon ship date will not be met for any reason, Norman Filter Company shall be notified by contacting the buyer. 3.7 When a product is shipped, a notification of shipping shall be sent to the buyer at Norman Filter Company. This should be in the form of an e-mailed or faxed tracking number.
