High Pressure Hydraulic Filters
Norman Filter Company designs, manufactures and tests high and medium pressure filter assemblies in our state of the art facility. Beyond our standard catalog products, our engineering & manufacturing team has extensive experience designing and building custom filter assemblies to a wide range of applications. All hydraulic filter housings are machined from DFARs compliant raw bar stock ensuring the highest quality and safety. NFC designs to many internationally accepted design standards, including
- ASME B31.3
- ASME BPBC
- European PED
Our filters have passed the rigorous testing required for use in mission-critical applications for US Defense and Aerospace companies. All machining, welding, inspection and precision measurement is accomplished under our AS9100 quality system requirements.
Hydraulic Filter Housings
NFC hydraulic filter housings are designed in-house and machined from:
- 303 stainless steel
- Super duplex
- A286 stainless
- Aluminum raw bar stock
We also have experience with less common metals such as titanium and zirconium. Titanium is a common metal used in aerospace applications and our zirconium filter was used in a highly corrosive chemical application.
Norman Tee-Type filters are used to condition a wide variety of fluids. Whether your application is hydraulic, pneumatic, chemical processing, compressed gases or industrial fluid clarification, Norman filters will remove particulate contaminates from your system to keep it running longer. Our t-type filters increase the life of the pumps, valves, regulators and other components in your system, with pay-backs of longer system life, reduced down-time, and improved productivity.
Norman offers the broadest filter line in the industry:
This wide variety of sizes, materials, filtration media and optional accessories, all available from stock, allows you to select the model with the best price/performance value for your application.
Norman Tee-Type filter housings are made of either aluminum or stainless steel. Aluminum pressure vessels are rated at 5000 PSI (operating), and offer light weight and low cost; our stainless steel t-type filter housings have higher operating pressures (up to 20,000 PSI) and excellent corrosion resistance.
